Should we be in… The LORD’S Great Army?

"And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army…my great army…The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble…"
Joel 2:11,25,10

"A God who hides Himself"--Isaiah 45:15 NAS

What a valid observation since less than one third of the world’s population is nominally classified as Christian. Far less have personally accepted Jesus as their Savior and made a full commitment to him. But more basically, Isaiah 45:15-25 reveals that God hid Himself from both Israel and all mankind.

The Death of Hell

Many Bible-believing Christians today are in a whirling dilemma! How do we understand how good non-Christian people—like Gandhi—can be in the burning hell as taught for centuries by Christians?

The Prophetic Steppings of God

In the study of Bible prophecy there are two prominent approaches. One is called Historical, which teaches that the Book of Revelation and the prophetic parts of the Book of Daniel have been in the process of fulfillment since the resurrection and ascension of Jesus.

Are We Coming to…The End of the World?

Certainly, in all of man’s history—there has always been trouble. But today’s distress upon the nations seems unprecedented "as never was since there was a nation" (Daniel 12:1).

God Knew Man Would Need Redemption

Like his creator, Man was intelligent. He possessed moral discernment and had free will to choose between right and wrong. God warned Adam in Genesis 2:17 that if he obeyed God’s law, he would live—but if he disobeyed, he would die....  Remember 1 Peter 1:18-20, God in his foreknowledge knew Adam would disobey and need a redeemer.

Women in God’s Plan

Throughout human history, men have suffered greatly. But women have suffered in an additional and unique way.

Did the Apostles believe in The Trinity?

If the Apostles believed in the Trinity, why was it 285 years after the death of the Apostles, AD 381, before the holy Spirit was finally officially declared a person. The noted Trinitarian historian Adolph Harnack observed that up to 325 AD the majority of Christians insisted the holy Spirit was not a person.

Earthquakes: an "Act of God"?

And what about volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, hurricanes, cyclones, tornados, blizzards and floods? Also wildfires, famines and plagues? Not easy questions to answer…especially when loved ones are hurt—or thousands of people including children are injured or die.

Warning! Jerusalem is a Burdensome Stone!

"I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone…all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces…" Zechariah 12:3.

"The Prosperity Gospel"

"Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel's sake, but that he shall receive a hundred times as much now isn the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life." Mark 10:29-31

Haiti! Where Was God?

Our hearts bleed for the people of Haiti. The pathetic images of mangled bodies, piles of corpses and complete despair are haunting. Catholic, Protestant, Born-Again Christians and unbelievers all suffered the same fate. No wonder, many are asking if there is a God of love, why does He permit catastrophes?
